EcoArt Term 2
EcoArt classes activate student’s imaginations, replace screen time with hands-on making and intertwine the beauty of nature and sustainability into every creation. EcoArt classes are designed to be the perfect mix of BUSH CRAFT and FINE ART!
This after school program is perfectly suited for primary school aged children.
No current skill level is required, however, enthusiasm for making art and creativity is highly welcomed!
Classes are small size with lots of personalised attention.
Classes are available Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons over the 10 weeks during term.
Term 2 Outline:
Week 1: Have fun ‘Printing Shells’ and natural objects. 🐚
Week 2: Paint ‘Watercolour Flowers’ for Mothers Day. 💐
Week 3: Learn the art of ‘Weaving with Sticks’ and nature layers.
Week 4: Create an ‘Inky Octopus’ 🐙
Week 5: Discover how to create a ‘3D Bird Sculpture’. 🐦
Week 6: Put the finishing touches on your sculpture.
Week 7: Paint an interesting ‘Aussie Wildflower’ design. 🌼
Week 8: Put the finishing touches on your painting.
Week 9: Design and hand-make your own ‘Talisman Pouch’.
Week 10: Draw and create a ‘Seed Mosaic design’. 💜
Every Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon during the school term from 3:45 - 5:15 PM

About the Instructor:
Demelza Wheatcroft is a qualified teacher with a Masters Degree in Art Education. She currently teaches at Mundaring Learning and Creative Centre. Works annually with Scupture By the Sea in Cottesloe as an arts educator and tour guide for school groups and people with disabilities. Has taught nationally and internationally, has worked at Du Fn Academy of Fine Arts and was the Co-Founder of ARTPOD in Mosman Park.
