Located amongst the beautiful trees in the natural bush setting in Mundaring. 

ECOART classes are designed to activate student’s imaginations, replace screen time with hands-on making and intertwine the awe-inspiring beauty and sustainability of nature into every creation.

This holiday program is perfectly suited for primary aged students.

No current skill level is required, however, enthusiasm for making art and creativity is highly welcomed!

Over the first three weeks in January, classes will run from Mon - Thurs from 9.00 - 10.30am. You can book single classes or get a discount when you buy a week bundle.

 

Week One: Jan 4th - 6th

Mon: *public holiday - no class.

Tues: Create a unique ‘Crystal Light Catcher’ with drawn mandala.

Wed: Design a funky ‘Pot Plant Collage’ with vintage paper.

Thurs: Make wearable art by designing your own ‘Animal Brooch’.


Week Two: Jan 10th - 13th

Mon: Print gorgeous leaves using a traditional ‘Mono Print’ technique.

Tues: Embellish your chosen letter with ‘Fine Line Botanical Drawing’.

Wed: Make your ‘Honkey Nut Head Family’ with sticks and wool.

Thurs: Play with watercolour in a ‘Bird Collage’. 

 

Week Three: Jan 17th - 20th

Mon: Paint a colourful ‘Aussie Landscape’ using ink & concentric lines

Tues: Create your 3D ‘Spirit Animal’ using hay and wool. 

Wed: Take a close up look at shells and create ‘Botanical drawings’.

Thurs: Design a ‘Seed Mosaic’ using seeds and legumes.

About the Instructor:

Demelza Wheatcroft is a qualified teacher with a Masters Degree in Art Education. She currently teaches at Mundaring Learning and Creative Centre. Works annually with Scupture By the Sea in Cottesloe as an arts educator and tour guide for school groups and people with disabilities. She has taught nationally and internationally, has worked at Du Fn Academy of Fine Arts and was the Co-Founder of ARTPOD in Mosman Park.
