2025 July School Holidays
EcoArt classes activate student’s imaginations and intertwine the beauty of nature with the joy of creating.
This holiday program is perfectly suited for Primary aged (6+) students. No current skill level is required, however, enthusiasm for making art and creativity is highly welcomed!
Over the July School Holiday, 2 weeks of classes will run weekdays. MORNINGS 10.30 - 12.00 and AFTERNOONS from 1.00 - 2.30pm.
Week One: July 7th- 11th
Mon AM: Create a ‘Magical Dragonfly Garden’ scene with oil pastel🧚🏻♂️
Mon PM: Paint ,cut then paste a unique ‘Circle Design’ 🎨
Tue AM: Discover intricate details for your ‘Windy Winter Leaf’🍁
Tue PM: Create a funky bold line ‘Bird Face’🐧🐦
Wed AM: Learn the secrets of drawing a ‘Manga Face’ character 🧝🏽♀️
Wed PM: Discover how to draw and embellish this ‘Blue Whale’ 🐳

Fri PM: Design & piece together a ‘Botanical Flower Hanging’ 🌸
Week Two: July 14th - 18th
Mon AM: Design a unique ‘Winter Lemon Mosaic’ watercolour Painting🍋
Mon PM: Imagine up a ‘Tree of Life ’ painting 🌳
Tue AM: Draw native flowers in this ‘Botanical Letter Drawing’ 🪻
Tue PM: Discover how to draw this ‘Winter Tree Circle’🌴
Wed AM: Cut, paste and draw these ‘Cute Watercolour Birdies’🦜
Wed PM: Layer up using mixed media for this ‘Abstract Cup’ drawing🍶

ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Demelza Wheatcroft is a qualified teacher with a Masters Degree in Art Education. She currently teaches at Mundaring Learning and Creative Centre. Works annually with Scupture By the Sea in Cottesloe as an arts educator and tour guide for school groups and people with disabilities. She has taught nationally and internationally, has worked at Du Fn Academy of Fine Arts and was the Co-Founder of ARTPOD in Mosman Park. EcoArt classes are inspired by local and international artists.
