2024 EcoArt Term 2

EcoArt classes are designed to activate student’s imagination and capture their ideas into every artwork. 

This program is perfectly suited for primary school ages 6+ children. No current skill level is required, however, enthusiasm for making art and creativity is highly welcomed!

Classes are small size with lots of personalised attention. EcoArt classes are safe spaces and run for 1.5 hours on Friday afternoons.

Classes start MAY 3rd and runs over 8 weeks.

8 WEEK OUTLINE: 

Week 1: ‘Jelly Print Leaves’ and string to create beautiful artworks🍃

Week 2: Use your hands to wrangle & tangle a ‘Cord Ball Sculpture’ 🧶

Week 3: Get your pens ready for this ‘Zentangle Zine Drawing’

Week 4: Finish Drawing 👩‍🎨

Week 5: Learn the art of botanical drawing with a ‘Bird Watercolour’ 🦜

Week 6: Learn how to sculpt a ‘Mini Coral Scene’ 🐬

Week 7: Dive deep into this ink and drawing ‘B&W Coral Reef’🪸

Week 8: Finish Design 🎨

ABOUT THE TEACHER:

Demelza Wheatcroft is a qualified teacher with a Masters Degree in Art Education. She currently teaches at Mundaring Learning and Creative Centre. Works annually with Scupture By the Sea in Cottesloe as an arts educator and tour guide for school groups and people with disabilities. Has taught nationally and internationally, has worked at Du Fn Academy of Fine Arts and was the Co-Founder of ARTPOD in Mosman Park.
