2025 Sept School Holidays

EcoArt classes combine the beauty of nature with the joy of creating.

This holiday program is perfectly suited for Primary aged (6+) students. No current skill level is required, however, enthusiasm for making art and creativity is highly welcomed!

Over the School Holiday 2 weeks, classes will run every weekday.

MORNINGS 10.30 - 12.00pm AFTERNOONS 1.30 - 3.00pm

Week One: Sept 29th  - Oct 3rd

Tue AM: Use collage to create an “Orca Mosaic” style watercolour 🐋

Tue PM: Stencil and layer in  a unique “Vase Painting” 🏺

Wed AM: Paint some “Colourful Abstract Flowers” 🌼🪻🌹

Wed PM: Create a bold and beautiful “Stars & Moon” painting ⭐️🌙

Thurs AM: Learn the art of “Charcoal Pears”🍐 

Thurs PM: Use big bold brushstrokes in this “Funky Fruitbowl”🍓🍋🍊

Fri AM: Collage a “Cute Birds Nest” with some blue eggs 🪺 

Fri PM: Layer paint and birdies to create a “Playful Bird Scene” 🐦⬛

Week Two: Oct 6th  - Oct 10th

Mon AM: Collage and create a “Landscape with Houses” scene 🏠

Mon PM: Use ink & watercolour paint to create this “Snippy Crab”🦀 

Tue AM: Build up layers to create this “Sassy Seagul” 🪶

Tue PM: Use shadow to create a “Flower & Weeds” drawing 🍁

Wed AM: Can a credit card do this “Landscape Painting”? 🙌 

Wed PM: Draw & collage your set of “Dancing Chickens” 🐓🐥🐔

Thurs AM: Wonder as you paint the “Full Moon Night Sky” 🌌

Thurs PM: Create you set of “Evil Cat Characters” 🐈⬛😼

Fri AM: Everyone will marvel at your “Marvellous Magpie” 🐧

About the Instructor:

Demelza Wheatcroft is a qualified teacher with a Masters Degree in Art Education. She currently teaches at Mundaring Learning and Creative Centre. Works annually with Scupture By the Sea in Cottesloe as an arts educator and tour guide for school groups and people with disabilities. Has taught nationally and internationally, has worked at Du Fn Academy of Fine Arts and was the Co-Founder of ARTPOD in Mosman Park and EcoArt Classes. 

Holds a current Working With Children Check and Police Clearance

ABSENT:

If your child is unable to attend class because if illness please let me know asap (before class) and we can organise a class credit for another holiday date. There are no refunds for no shows.
