2025 EcoArt Term 4
EcoArt classes are designed to be the perfect mix of BUSH CRAFT and FINE ART! We use NATURE as inspiration for Artworks.
This program is perfectly suited for primary school aged (6+) children.
No current skill level is required, however, enthusiasm for making art and creativity is highly welcomed!
Classes are small size with lots of personalised attention. EcoArt classes are safe spaces and run for 1.5 hours. Classes start week 2 of school term and run over 8 weeks. Start Oct 22nd.
8 WEEK OUTLINE:
Week 1: Paint an ‘Inky Fruit Bowl’ on collagen paper 🍐🍎
Week 2: Draw an use watercolour in a ‘Mystical Magic Faraway Tree’ 🌳
Week 3: Create a gorgeous Indigenous artist inspired ‘Landscape’ ☀️
Week 4: Finish your Painting
Week 5: Collage your own unique ‘Vintage Paper Inspired Bookends’📕
Week 6: Design a summer themed ‘Sea Spiral Mandala’ 🌀🐠🪸
Week 7: Finish your artwork
Week 8: Draw a special ‘Xmas Angel’ 👼🏼🪽

ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Demelza Wheatcroft is a qualified teacher with a Masters Degree in Art Education. She currently teaches at Mundaring Learning and Creative Centre. Works annually with Scupture By the Sea in Cottesloe as an arts educator and tour guide for school groups and people with disabilities. Has taught nationally and internationally, has worked at Du Fn Academy of Fine Arts and was the Co-Founder of ARTPOD in Mosman Park.
